In October 2003, a group of nine people ventured into production of a Punjabi (Indian regional language) film, titled "Des Hoyaa Pardes" in association with Mrs. Manjeet Maan of Sai Productions, an Indian production house. The group was headed by Bikram Gill and included Tarlochan Grewal, Harjinder Gill, Rajwant Gill, Makhan Gill, Jagdeep Sekhon, Daler Brar, Rajpal Brar & Kashmir Gill.

Thus the production and entertainment company, SAI CREATIONS, was born. As SAI means GOD in Punjabi, we at Sai Creations believe that everything in this world is GOD's creation. We believe in thinking and working beyond imagination. At Sai Creations, all our projects initiate above the normal thinking and imagination to find very interesting and the right movie scripts; and to produce par excellence live events.

In December 2003, Sai Creations started working on the motion picture "Des Hoyaa Pardes" based on the script written by one of the group members, Kashmir Gill. On January 14th 2005, after 18 months of production, the film had a worldwide theatrical release including India, United Kingdom, Canada, USA & Australia.

The film had an overwhelming response and was very well received by the worldwide audience. In fact, it was the first ever Non-Hollywood film to complete 100 days in Canada & United Kingdom. It was selected as the Best Punjabi Film of the Year 2005 by the Indian Government and was also awarded the prestigious "President's National Award". Mr. Maan also received the Jury's Special National Award for his acting in this movie. Media world over, recognized the accomplishments and wrote about the film. "Des Hoyaa Pardes" was a very humble journey filled with love, trust, respect and faith for both Sai Productions and Sai Creations.
